Digital human
Enterprise terminology for a photorealistic AI avatar. Synonym for AI streamer in consumer contexts.
Conversational AI avatar
Combines an LLM (response generation), TTS (voice), and a real-time avatar renderer (lip sync + facial expression). Holds real-time video conversations.
Real-time AI video
Video generated and streamed within hundreds of milliseconds of the trigger. Distinct from batch AI video which takes minutes to render.
Lip sync
Aligning the avatar's mouth movements to the generated speech. TwinTone targets sub-100ms lip-sync error vs. ground truth.
Glass-to-glass latency
Time from a real-world event (viewer typing in chat) to the corresponding visible response on the viewer's screen. TwinTone targets sub-500ms perceived latency.
LiveKit

Tavus

Voice cloning
Reproducing a human voice from a short audio sample. TwinTone uses ElevenLabs / Cartesia integrations.
Responsible Gaming (RG)
